Recipe: Brownies (2 Persons):


Ingredients:


  • 2 tbsp (30g) unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp (30g) dark chocolate (chopped or chips)

  • 3 tbsp (37g) sugar

  • 1 tbsp (15ml) milk

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 tbsp (24g) all-purpose flour

  • ½ tbsp (4g) cocoa powder

  • A pinch of salt

  • ⅛ tsp baking powder (optional, for slightly cakier brownies)

  • 1 tbsp (10g) chocolate chips or nuts (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking dish (about 4x4 inches) or use two ramekins.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate together (about 20-30 seconds in the microwave, stirring in between).

  3. Mix in sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, then stir until just combined.

  5. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 12-15 minutes (or until the top is set but still slightly gooey in the middle).

  7. Let it cool slightly, then enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream!
